Samsung Series 7 DLP 1080p Black Screen, Tearing

New Samsung DLPs seem to have trouble with 1080p input. This is a Xbox 360 connected by component, set to 1080p, showing black screens and some tearing during Game startup. (RESOLVED–use HDMI or VGA instead or upgrade TV firmware)
