Will 480p video look bad on Samsung 46 inch led tv?

I’m planing on buying a Samsung LED TV 1080p HD and I’m just wondering how will the standard def. Video from my set top box look on it. I getting it mainly for watching blurays and playing xbox games so i dont really care but just curious for the answers.

I have the Samsung UN46C7000 46-Inch LED TV with this exact setup. I have used standard def. tv on it also from a set top box and it looks GREAT. I don’t think you will have any problem with standard def. on such a nice tv. This is the set I have @ Amazon:
