stupid commercial… led tv’s dont give ’sharper images’ like she said. the resolution is the same they just use a different source of backlighting (led diodes instead of cold cathodes)

nah they support 1080p / 1080i (blu-ray / hd-dvd) but nothing is higher in tv’s so far…

The different backlight means it has a higher contrast ratio, which makes the blacks in dark scenes, for example, sharper.
