Best surround system for a LED Samsung TV?

I have a LED Samsung TV and a new Blue Ray Sonny. I want a good surround System or a combination of Speakers with a good receiver. Just tried two BOSE systems the Lifestyle V20 and the Cinemate. The Cinemate is good for very small RM and the V20 was a headache ‘cause of the video and Sound to the TV and the HDMI connection.
Good idea with the Pionner, but on the speaker any specific size or type? My budget $1,500.

    Check out this months Consumer Reports, they rated the best surround sounds dvd, blu ray, and just amps, plus sound bars.

    I let a friend use the magazine or I would list them for you.

    "Best" is relative. I would look at Paradigm speakers, and a Denon receiver.
