Samsung tv can …
Samsung tv can click, which is a setting for an automatic firmware upgrade search. It checks it every day. Some sets turn themselves on in the middle of the night for this purpose, and don’t turn off. Some sets only click. It is the same click as turning the tv on or off. The setting of the automatic firmware upgrade can be turned off in the menu, which solves the problem.

OOh another thing if you hear the guy in this review almost at the end he said that you loose a little of the picture quality if you look at it from the side. Who looks at it from the side anyways but i tested mine out when I bought it and you dont loose much picture quality.

My opinion is that the Sony can compete with Samsung LED Tvs they look almost as good maybe even better,but they are still to fat to me and my Samsung 8000 Series LED Tv is 1.3 inches thick. If Samsung didn’t have this thin Tv out on the market I would have probably bought a Sony those are the only two companies I trust when it comes to HDTVs.

I bought my Samsung 8000 series 46′ 240Hz LED Tv about 4 months ago.I was going to wait for OLED Tvs but it was killing me not having an HDTV,but in the end I think it was worth it.I compared this TV to mine at Fry’s Electronics they were right next to each other and they are almost the same.Yea this one has darker blacks but the whole screen is not as bright as my Tv, so it lacks the ability of brighter whites.Now the only thing killing me is that mine isn’t 7,000,000:1 contrast ratio.
