I have a Samsung …
I have a Samsung LN46A950. It has the best picture i’ve ever seen. Before that I had a Dynex 42 inch 1080P LCD. The Dynex had a great picture, the Samsung has a mind blowing picture.

Not quite right . …
Not quite right . It is not backlit , but sidelit. This gives the panel its thinness. By the way , free to air TV looks disgusting unless the signal source is first rate. The LXpioneer eats it as a TV. And the backlit remote control is now where as good a the equivalent Sonys.

most people buying this will be using a surround amplifier for sound anyway so don’t care about the built-in speakers
