Just when you’d got your head around plasma and LCD TVs, there’s now LED backlit TVs, and even OLED TVs. Don’t worry, this short video from Comet explains the basics.

    What a dumb generalisation to say that LED backlit TVs have better contrast than plasma TVs; that would only be true if he meant LED backlit TVs with local dimming but he didn’t mention anything about local dimming. There’s no credibility in this video.

    i hate this kind of tv its not a true led tv its a led backed lcd which is completely different to true led tv a true led has each pixel produce its own light like a plasma panel which in turn is way more efficient and gives even better blacks and whites

    I have 2 plasma tv and now I have Led 47 tv. I can say LEd é really the best, mainly if you have IPS painel like LG Tvs.
