What tv should i purchase?
So i play a lot of video games, watch a lot of tv, hd and non hd, and watch blu-rays a lot. I need something between 55" and 62". I had a DLP for a while, but the picture quality wasnt quite up to par. I upgraded to a samsung UE40B8000 i believe. Its nice, but for video games its very sluggish and just horrid.
What tv would you guys recommend for some one who requires very low input lag, 1080p capabilities, and wants good picture quality? (Money is not a big issue)
Im afraid of plasmas and LCD/LED TVs cuz im afraid of a pixel burning out, or worse if its a plasma. But then again i dont know much about TVs that arent DLPs.
Im looking for some serious answers. I mentioned a specific size range that i need the tv to be in. Because worst comes to worst i can move my DLP back into my room.
If you cant give me a good suggestion with what im askin for in a tv, try and point me in a direction where i can figure out what tv i want myself. Like a link to a nice forum or something.
So far im liking samsung quite a bit. But theres no way i would ever want a 3D tv.
Toshiba is my most favoite brand in the world and ask anyone in the world. They are the flat out best. Theyre not trend but they are loyal and best products

how good is a mitsbushi new slim dlp’s?
Ive been looking at a lot of tv’s and my question is how good is the new mitsbishi dlp tv’s with smooth 120 and 6 color wheel etc… comparing them to plasmas and lcd and led how does it stack up to them? and what technology has the best picture because ive looked at all of them in person and didnt notice much difference.
DLPs, being projection televisions rather than direct-view, in general don’t have picture quality that’s as good as other types of TVs, including plasma and LED. But they do offer quick response time and decent contrast, as well as long lifespans (as long as they’re properly taken care of). At very large sizes, they almost always give the biggest bang for the buck. The two main drawbacks are narrower viewing angle than even LCD, and the fact that the bulb must be replaced every few thousand hours of use.

Samsung Series 7 DLP 1080p Black Screen, Tearing
New Samsung DLPs seem to have trouble with 1080p input. This is a Xbox 360 connected by component, set to 1080p, showing black screens and some tearing during Game startup. (RESOLVED–use HDMI or VGA instead or upgrade TV firmware)

for the $$$ lcd led or dlp tv Want 50-60"?
I found a nice 50 Inch Pioneer KRP-500M with excellent reviews and 5star ratings. The picture is bright, clear and breath taking, the picture quality is awesome man. You can get one of those for a little over $2,000.
I also came across a slightly larger, but cheaper Sony BRAVIA S-Series KDL-52S5100 52-Inch for a little over $1000. Damn. These S-series TVs is said to put amazing picture quality and stunning dynamic contrast in reach for value-oriented consumers who want to step up into the Sony Full HD 1080p experience. I guess this is the one for people looking to save a dollar.
