Should I Get An Edge Lit LED or LCD HDTV?
So, I have enough money. And I have always wanted a nicer TV than my old standard one in my room. I plan on just getting a cheap, cheap TV. And I was going to get a 24 inch, but there are two kinds of 24 inch TVs that I have narrowed it down to. A 24 inch Edge Lit LED-LCD TV and a regular 24 inch LCD. They are both 1080p, have the same ports. Everything. But the LED one costs a bit more. Is it worth the extra money to get an edge lit LED TV? Or since it is a small TV and so cheap, would it be about the same (Picture Wise)?

What HDTV should I get?
I have an old CRT TV that my brother-in-law gave me a while back and it serves me well, but I am getting a PS3 soon and want to really take advantage of the video quality (and if the volume is too high on the TV, the screen flickers). I want to get an LED-LCD TV but the LCD TVs are considerably cheaper! I was wondering if there is that much of a difference between the two to justify the price. I’ll throw in that I would be getting it financed because I am a college student and don’t make much money but don’t want to be in too much debt to the Best Buy mafia. I’m only looking to get a 40" because there isn’t much room in my house. Also, surround sound: is it worth it for gaming and casual movie watching? Thanks!
