Looking for help with Black Friday TV sales…?
I’m looking to compare only Black Friday TV sales, and wondering what everyone thinks about the TV sales available as of right now. I want to get my dad a TV, his just broke! He likes to watch sports obviously, and also likes to watch a lot of HBO series and stuff like that. What kind of TV would you suggest (LCD/Plasma/LED)? And he watches TV from about 10-12 feet away so what size would you suggest? Also, what brand would you suggest? Obviously I can distinguish between like better quality brands and crappy ones, but if there is little difference between brands quality but a big price difference, I’d rather take the cheaper priced one. And do you expect any more sales to be announced still? Thanks for the help!
I just saw the Black Friday ad from Wal-Mart and they’re having deals on a few tv’s. The biggest deal is an Emerson 32" LCD for $248. My parents have the exact same tv, only they didn’t pay that little for it. It’s a nice tv, great value! The Emerson 42" is also on sale for $448 from 5-11 am only as an "early bird special." There are also other brands on sale, but I don’t know how much you’re looking to spend….
I was wondering which ones better a 55 inch Vizio Led-Lcd tv or a 55 inch Samsung Led-Lcd?
money doesn’t interfer since i can get both for the same price. so which ones better?
By far the Samsung LCD/LED tv is much superior in quality than the Vizio LCD/LED Vizio is a cheap brand that sell at a low price due to low quality parts they are made of. Go online to Home Theater Magazine and read the reviews on tvs. You will notice that Vizio is not even mentioned in the entry level to the high end category, only Panasonic, Sony, Samsung and Toshiba are. This is better source of information than the tv commercial you hear. Hope this will help you out.

Understanding Cultural Diversity in Today’s Complex World

No one in this country is untouched by the impact of diversity. Yet, as diverse as diversity is, are too the many different emotions and attitudes evoked by diversity. As a nation, we are not well equipped to deal with the swirling transitions that are converging on us on a daily basis because of the nature of being the most diverse country in the world. This text will well serve the purpose for many who decide to learn and teach the fundamentals of cultural diversity. It will be beneficial for college students, high school juniors and seniors, and organizations whose ever-changing workforce leads to the necessity of educating employees on how to deal with the diversity of employees and customers in a positive manner. This timely publication is filled with current and relevant examples taken from pop culture: from TV shows, song lyrics, and poetry of the times. These excerpts make this publication much more interesting and easy for the reader to relate to and understand.
Do OLED screens burn images onto the screen if left on the same thing like plasmas?
I have a ZuneHD… It has an OLED screen on it and i was wondering if it burns the image onto the screen like plasma tv’s do if you leave it on the same thing for awhile.
No, OLED screens (or LED screens for that matter) generally don’t suffer from the image burn in like plasma screens do.
is Britney Spears dead?
Britney Spears Killed!
I can’t believe I’m reporting this, but Britney Spears passed away today at the age of 26 after being found unresponsive in a washroom of the LA hot spot NABU. An autopsy has not yet been performed, but it is believed that she was under the influence of a prescription drug and may have overdosed on an injectable street drug.Britney is best known for her studio albums, music videos, and songs such as "…Baby One More Time", Oops!…I Did It Again, I’m a Slave 4 U and the Grammy Award Winning "Toxic". In the early 2000s, Spears’s success as a singer led her way to high-profile deals and endorsements, as well as forays into other forms of media, including film and reality TV. Her third and fourth albums, Britney and In the Zone, were released during this era. Details surrounding her death are still being released by LA coroner’s office. Please stay tuned
